Drama Game - Camera Game

In the game Camera Game, you first have to pick a pose – high, middle or low (keep in mind the emotion you express through that pose should be exaggerated because it is a miming exercise and preferably comfortable because you may hold that pose for a long time). One person will not do this; they will take mental pictures of groups of people in their poses. They will then go to a place out of earshot (this person is called the Camera Man). While that person is gone, 2 or 3 people will leave the room as well or hide within the room. Then the Camera Man must find out who left by looking at the remaining people in the room. Using his/her mental pictures.

This exercise works on expressing emotions through poses and memorization skills. You need to have memorization skills to be an actor. And it’s especially important if you want to be the director. This is because you need to remember where people stand in particular scenes or steps for dances. In case the actor forget.
