Recently I listened to the Beatles version of Stairway to Heaven. Here is my insight on it!
In the Beatles version of Stairway to Heaven, I think that there is electric guitar, drums and vocals. The drums seem to keep up the tempo, which is faster than the original Stairway to Heaven. Because of this, it makes the audience happier. Around the end of the song there is a section where a note is repeated every phrase, and when I listened to it, it made me feel happy, as well.
More near to the beginning of the song, the lead vocal and the background go into a marvelous harmony, almost an octave apart. This occurs as the end of some phrase. Nearing the end of the song there is a phrase where the singers take turns singing a note but on the next octave up from the last one. Which I thought sounded beautiful.
An example of the popular culture impact of The Beatles was making T.V. popular, as they filmed a complete episode. Also, the hairstyle they had (“the bob” and also called “moptop hair”), was copied by a numerous amount of people.
Thanks for reading on my blog!
