In the game The Wink Murderer, you sit in a circle, eyes closed, while the Wink Murderer is being decided. Then when everyone opens their eyes they look around, looking into each other’s eyes. The Wink Murderer (no one knows who they are) has to wink at people – without getting caught. If you get winked at, you have to die a dramatic death. If you suspect someone as the murderer you have to raise your hand, and wait ‘till you’re called on. If you’re right the Wink Murderer dies, if you’re wrong, you die. It goes on until all the Wink Murderer’s have died.
I think the purpose of this game was to practice being dramatic as well as being principled, if you get winked at. Also to practice hiding your identity as a wink murderer.
