Hong Kong Air Pollution

Even at this moment, I can look out my window and see the air pollution within Hong Kong.

Air pollution can greatly affect the society, especially their health. At times, in Hong Kong, the air pollution is really horrible. It has caused people to cough, sneeze and get sick. This leads to more severe problems such as lung problems and even cancer!

To prevent air pollution you can use less transportation which produces it. For example, instead of riding a taxi, you could walk or ride a bike. But if it long distances, then using different transportation than walking and riding bikes is inevitable. Preferably use public transportation as much as possible. I have taken action by riding a school bus to school instead of a private car or taxi. Little steps such as this can decrease the amount of air pollution produced.

Asian Flooding Problem

There had been a flooding problem in Asia.

Looking at the problems because of the flood regarding the community, there is lack of food, water and shelter. If they did have some food or water supplies, it would run out in time. So it is important that they are able to get more food. They would also need shelter if it was damaged from the flood.

Because of the flood, there have probably been a lot of health problems. Such as sickness because of the flood affecting their water supplies, or getting a cold. Floods also impact the natural environment. Flooding causes erosion, affecting the soil.

Physical Education Unit 2

My second unit for Physical Education. If falls into the Environments category. I'm actually unsure why they put this unit in the Environments category. I thought it would be in the Health and Social Education because in the unit we looked at why effective communication in sport is vital for success and crucial for team work. For this reason it could have fallen under the Community and Service category as well.

Physical Education Unit 1 - Health and Social Education

The first unit for Physical Education was Soccer. It falls in to the Health and Social Education. I think this is because we were learning how being active influences our daily life, as the unit question was 'How does being active influence my daily life?'.
